Mildred
has been called a Romantic Surrealist. Her works are destined
to be mood pieces, invoking a wide range of moods from Whimsy;
to Humor; to Fantasy; to the Romantic. Mildred alternates
between the three very disparate sides that make of her artistic
persona, the playful side, the technical side and the romantic
side. Some of the works evoke nostalgia, drawing on childhood
memories. Mythology lends the inspiration for other works,
which are fashioned into dreamscapes of classical serenity.
