Birgit Huttemann-Holz is foremost a writer and poet.
A sudden change of her life, the move from Germany to the US triggered a stop to her writing.
Due to the early exposure to magic realism in the studio of her uncle Werner Holz, an outstanding German artist, she soon found a universal language, taking visual form.
