"The
inspiration for "When Creativity Speaks" comes from
a sacred place. As I entered its landscape, a Raven's head
manifested from a deep and mysterious well. From that point
on, the drawing gave birth to itself. There were no preliminary
sketches made. I just entered the space and got out of the
way. This drawing represents the feeling I have when creativity
sings its intoxicating song from the deepest chambers of my
soul and reaches out to touch yours. No words, only pure truth
- Powerful. The marks I make on paper, canvas, and board are
the maps that take me on this journey to you.

chose me as a very small child and has been my life force throughout
my existence. Self-teaching has been my primary path. My work
strengthens me and creates a thread of luminous, healing energy
that interweaves itself to others who are drawn into its magic
and who also need to quench their scorching thirst by drinking
the nectar from the well of this powerful, yet delicate web.
A visionary web that words struggle to penetrate, but simply
cannot. A web holding fire energy. Igniting and ravenously burning
to ashes the seemingly inpenetrable layers of thick walls, which
we unconsciously create within ourselves, leaving exposed only
our bare bones, a charred skeleton that hides nothing. Deep-rooted,
wildly feral emotions, of which only one's soul can hear and
understand, are set free to speak the language of the silence
of faded whispers that resonate upon each strand. Our deepest
wounds live here in a whirlpool of our own ecstatic bliss. Our
truth trembles when creativity is born." |
