Fatima Azimova

I was always fascinated with the beauty of nature, that's why I had to discover media and forms to convey at least some of my desires as an artist. Nature is beautiful everywhere because it is pure, it is my inspiration forever. I got so influenced by bizarre imagery of Surrealism and I discovered ways to invent a fantastic world and create a "new reality" on my canvases. Often in my paintings I use female?s figure as a symbol of beauty and a perfect balance where the body is regarded as a temple of the soul. My paintings are very different, sometimes they evoke feelings in a little aggressive provocative way that expresses my fantasy and passion.
I enjoy working in different medias such as oil, acrylics, ink, pastel and batik.
